The ONLINE interconnected Biographical Lexicon of Famous and Notable People from Styria (Štajerska)includes info about personalities who were born in the Styria Region, living and/or studying here, and whose work above all impacted the region’s development in history as well as in the present. Regardless of Styria’s historical borders, the lexicon includes personalities from a wider territory of the region.
The website is run by the Maribor library in collaboration with other general libraries in Štajerska, contents may be added by other establishments. We gladly accept proposals for adding new personalities to the lexicon. Send them to stajerci.si@mb.sik.si or via the online form.
